Getting here was a struggle itself. We drop off at the town of Kalianda, after a wonderful trip to Krakatau. Still undecided on our itinerary tonight, we ride motorbike taxi for hotel. Looking forward for beach-front hotel, we shy away from Kalianda Hotel, and asked to be taken to Laguna Helau. To our surprise, the place look deserted, cottage looks awful, and we were the only person here. We even more shocked when quoted 400k/night. Even the innkeeper finally suggests Kalianda resort; probably see the shock in our face. So off we go, to Kalianda Resort. see detail...
